Stella’s performance at the Mansion House, London
The highlight of 2011, a most musically enjoyable year for Stella, was undoubtedly her recital performance in October, with pianist Michael Jones, at the Centenary Gala Dinner of the Rotary Club of London. This illustrious event was held in the magnificent and atmospheric Grand Egyptian Hall of the Lord Mayor’s residence, the Mansion House, in London.
Stella sang a selection of vocal pieces by Bizet, Cui, Rachmaninov, Turina and Obradors and Michael played a piano solo, the First Arabesque by Debussy, for a most distinguished audience including the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of the City of London and the Marquis of Salisbury (former Lord Privy Seal).
